Act of Kindness 3/12

It's been a while since I blogged what with being in hospital and generally feeling poorly (more on that another time!) but I am just about getting back into the swing of things :)

It does mean that I missed out on an Act of Kindness during March but I will squeeze an extra one in along the way to make up for it!

April's Act of Kindness was quite a big undertaking in the end... The St Neots Rugby Club's annual Charity Festival is a great family event that raises money for deserving charities and also helps fund raise for the club itself. This year money was being raised for Beating Bowel Cancer and England Deaf Rugby.

I decided last year to organise a fund raising Craft Fair as part of the event and was able to put together a handful of stalls... this year I really got stuck in and booked over 20 stalls for the event. It's no mean feat organising an event like this, and definitely a tiring undertaking when you're 8 months pregnant, but it was really worth it!

All the stalls looked great and the Club were really pleased with the addition to the event. The stalls raised over £300 and contributed to the success of the weekend raffles so it was worth all the organising :)

Here's a few photos from the day:
