More cake!

Today has been a day full of messy cakey goodness.
The first cake is an adapted recipe based on this one here though with normal buttercream as my wing and a prayer Swiss buttercream solidified beyond all use when I stored it in the fridge overnight (any tips on getting this to work would be much appreciated!!).

The cupcakes are a basic recipe with enough icing, chocolate buttons and sweets to cover a reasonably sized dinner table. Twins Lillie-Rose and James seemed to approve!

Anyhow, enough cake for this week... I am back to work tomorrow if anyone needs me :)

  1. Don't out your butter cream in the fridge just keep it somewhere cool it will be fine if covered with cling. As it is made of egg whites the air dries it out the colder the air the more it dries out.
